The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:49 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A tenant under eviction notice at a Greenley Road apartment complex vandalized a vehicle.

9:34 a.m., suspicious circumstances — People in a vehicle with trash surrounding it and partially obscuring the license plate in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot told an officer another law enforcement agency allowed them to camp there, but the officer told them they had to leave.

3:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on North Arbona Circle said a four and a half pound piece of asphalt was thrown on the backside of their roof, but they did not know how it got there.

5:18 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person sitting on a bench across from a South Washington Street business yelled obscenities and smoked marijuana on a bench.

7:20 p.m., any civil problem — A woman paid for gas at a Pesce Way gas station, but another person pumped the gas and left.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:38 a.m., Sonora — A person on Creekside Drive said three adopted puppies were dumped on her neighbor’s property, but then a person claiming to be the niece of the dog owner said she wanted the puppies back.

1:19 p.m., Jamestown — A car rolled backward into the stone planter of a Cindy Court resident and blocked the person’s driveway.

1:46 p.m., Groveland — A person in a Highway 120 park was seen hugging, humping and punching trees while screaming and flashing people, and later she drooled and rolled outside of a Main Street market.

9:57 p.m., Sonora — A Belmont Drive resident found someone rummaging inside of the hood of their vehicle, but did not believe they took anything.

10:28 p.m., Sonora — A person went into the garage of a Belleview Creek Road home and found several doors open.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

5:30 a.m., Valley Springs — A naked man ran around a McAtee neighborhood.

5:41 a.m., Angels Camp — A tool storage container was broken into.

10:47 a.m., Angels Camp — A suspicious person on Highway 4 was determined to be a construction worker.

9:13 p.m., Avery — Firearms were discharged on Valley View Drive.

10:31 a.m., Valley Springs — Xiaolin Zheng, 37, of the 8300 block of Pardini Place, was booked on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a controlled substance, felony marijuana cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale following an arrest at his home.
