The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:37 a.m., school assists — A student left a North Washington Street campus, but later returned to a classroom.

10:05 a.m., unclassified — A person on Hope Lane said construction trash and a patio umbrella covered by blue tarps were left on Hope Lane for over a year.

12:29 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on Sanguinetti Road said they heard a customer yelling at an employee at a nearby business.

1:40 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person on Morning Star Drive said a man with a guitar sat outside of a Morning Star Drive building for hours.

5:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man opened a window at a Summit Avenue home and may have taken an item.

SATURDAY

2:26 a.m., parking — No vehicles were towed during a Mother’s Day Parade parking detail.

12:21 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man and woman were believed to have been looking at a tractor on Greenley Road and a resident believed they might steal it.

6:29 p.m., reckless driving — A Shaws Flat Road resident said a white four-door Chevy Silverado and a blue four-door Chevy Silverado drove at 60 miles per hour.

7:43 p.m., reckless driving — A person on Highway 49 believed a driver drank out of a flask, but an officer determined the driver was not under the influence.

11:30 p.m., hazardous situation — A person said an unknown person put a no parking sign in the middle of South Washington Street near Linoberg Street.

SUNDAY

12:45 a.m., reckless driving — A driver on Highway 108 said a vehicle drove onto a curb and then crossed over the double yellow lines.

2:20 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A person on Stockton Road attempted to rip a “pedestrian crossing” sign out of the sidewalk and succeeded in loosening it.

4:17 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — People on South Stewart Street were involved in a shouting match.

5:25 p.m., trespass/loiter — A tent was set up near Hospital Road.

8:07 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on Elk Drive said neighbors in the area drove at a high rate of speed, honked horns and played loud music.

2:25 a.m., Twain Harte — A person on Tamarack Drive said a drone of two people were shining flashlights in her backyard.

5:26 p.m., Groveland — A dog ran loose on Main Street and held up traffic.

5:59 p.m., Sonora — A sign purchased by three homeowners on Railway Lane was vandalized with paint.

7:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A Tuolumne Road resident said a woman was crying on his porch and knocking on his door. He said believed she was intoxicated, but it was hard to tell over the crying.

11:55 p.m., Sonora — A woman in the parking lot of a Mono Way fast food restaurant harassed a man because she said he almost hit her vehicle.

7:57 a.m., Columbia — A person on Parrotts Ferry Road near a bridge slipped, fell and was knocked unconscious.

11:13 a.m., Soulsbyville — A person on Oman Drive and Pokie Drive said he found a gun in the middle of the road while delivering mail.

5:30 p.m., Long Barn — A tree was on fire on the side of Highway 108.

6:28 p.m., Sonora — A Terrace Drive resident returned home to find a man dressed as a woman standing in her driveway.

8:28 p.m., Columbia — A person who may have been under the influence of drugs hung around a campground area on Chili Gulch Road during a wedding.

1:58 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman passed out on the gaming floor of a Tuolumne Road North casino.

3:16 p.m., Sonora — A large black bear ran across Highway 49 near a gas station.

4:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A person representing himself as an Apple employee took over the computer of a Laramie Lane resident and downloaded all of their personal information.

7:40 p.m., Twain Harte — A Highway 108 resident said a renter had a key to the water pump, but turned it off because he incorrectly said he owned it.

11:13 p.m., Sonora — Two men fought in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Mono Way.

10:05 p.m., Twain Harte — Paul James Van Gorder, 31, of the 18200 block of Via Serena, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and resisting a peace officer following an arrest on Joaquin Gully Road.

SATURDAY

1:15 p.m., Columbia — Timothy Michael Brown, 62, of the 17500 block of High School Road, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license for driving under the influence following an arrest on Yankee Hill Road.

7:16 p.m., Jamestown — Jason Michael Jerman, 38, of the 17300 block of Blackbird Lane, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges contempt of court and violations of the provisions of a suspended license following an arrest on Highway 49.

10:46 a.m., Sonora — Shawn Michael Webb, 46, of the 500 block of Dragoon Circle, was booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent or vehicle left and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license following an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

7:30 p.m., Sonora — Amy Anne Locklin, 28, of the 18000 block of Blue Bell Road, was booked on suspicion of abusing or endangering the health of a child following an arrest on the 15200 block of Mount Lily Road.

12:59 p.m., Sonora — Russell Eugene Sherrets, 19, transient, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and threatening crime with the intent to terrorize following an arrest on Highway 108.

7:14 p.m., Tuolumne — Gerald Cecil Kinder, 48, of the 20700 block of Ponderosa Way, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury following an arrest at his home.

8:55 p.m., Tuolumne — Alec Robert Andalon, 28, of the 22800 block of Highland Drive, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury, false imprisonment, vandalism and misdemeanor charges injuring a wireless communication device following an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.
