The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:42 a.m., hazardous situation — A group in a North Washington Street park was said to be dancing in the street, but a group leader agreed to keep people out of the street.

11:17 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Greenley Road said someone frequently bragged about driving under the influence of alcohol and prescription medications.

1:19 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A group of people on motorcycles U-turned on South Washington Street and flipped people off.

9:19 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman said two or three men on North Forest Road were being loud and she yelled at them, but then she heard them talking about her.

10:35 p.m., animal complaints — A black Labrador retriever wearing a lime-green collar ran away from a Theall Street property.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

4:29 a.m., Sonora — A drunk man ran down Old Wards Ferry Road.

11:46 a.m., Columbia — A man wearing blue jeans slept on the side of Parrotts Ferry Road and a driver was concerned a car might hit him.

2:01 p.m., Twain Harte — A person on Michigan Drive said a homeless person was living on his property.

10:32 p.m., Sonora — An erratic driver crashed and disabled their vehicle on Mono Way and Village Drive.

11:47 p.m., Groveland — A person on Incense Cedar Trail said they needed a tow for their broken down 1978 truck, but was unable to get one because they were in a remote area.

1:46 a.m., Sonora — Matthew Arthur Souza, 36, of the 18800 block of Geer Road, Hilmar, was booked on suspicion of false personation of another, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor charges evading a peace officer following an arrest on the 1200 block of Mono Way.

12:37 p.m., Tuolumne — Sean Drew Wallace, 53, of the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm while a felon and possession of ammunition while prohibited following an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:52 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was seen on Friedman Way.

2:50 p.m., Railroad Flat — A purse was stolen from a North Railroad Flat Road.

5:33 p.m., Valley Springs — An arrest was made for public intoxication on Highway 12.

9:46 p.m., Burson — Firearms were discharged on Pleasant Oaks Road, but a deputy was unable to find anybody.
