The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:32 a.m., parking — A person on North Stewart Street said a home health care worker was blocking her driveway with their vehicle.

11:41 a.m., theft — A cell phone was stolen from an Old Wards Ferry Road parking lot.

12:29 p.m., fraudulent activities — A checkbook was stolen out of a vehicle parked on Sanguinetti Road and someone forged and cashed one of the checks.

4:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Woodside Drive said two transients were attempting to set up a camp near propane tanks, but officers were unable to locate anybody.



The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:04 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Seventh Street said there was a man outside of her car “tripping out” with a razor blade.

7:50 a.m., Sonora — A 90-year-old woman who appeared to be confused walked on Mount Elizabeth Drive yelling for help.

2:49 p.m., Jamestown — A person was seen on Highway 108 and Tulloch Road, dumping sewage from his trailer down a storm drain.

8:48 p.m., Tuolumne — A person on Yosemite Road said someone was banging on the walls of their home and someone should be sent to them fast.

11:14 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Highway 120 was seen waving down cars.

1:52 a.m., Jamestown — Joseph Eric McIntyre, 51, of the 500 block of Rock Forge Loop, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale, transportation of a narcotic controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance following an arrest and driving with a suspended license on Highway 49.

7:50 p.m., Sonora — Christina Angela Ceragioli, 59, of the 20700 block of Lower Hillview Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession, manufacture or selling of a dangerous weapon following an arrest at her home.

11:45 p.m., Sonora — Janice Lisa Thompson, 55, of the 23800 block of Kewin Mill Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges driving while license is suspended for DUI following an arrest on Cavaleri Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:27 p.m., Murphys — An open door was seen at a Dam Road residence.

12:48 p.m., Valley Springs — A person on Highway 26 was arrested for public intoxication.

3:23 p.m., Arnold — People on Highway 4 argued over an employment termination.

9:21 a.m., Angels Camp — George Anthony Shuwoy, 26, of the 600 block of Tuolumne Avenue, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release community supervision following an arrest on the 100 block of Selkirk Road.

2:00 p.m., Valley Springs — Daniel Steven Mantz, 35, of the 5400 block of Cox Drive, was booked on suspicion of a felony probation violation following an arrest on Pardee Dam Road.

2:00 p.m., Valley Springs — Daniel Steven Mantz, 35, of the 5400 block of Cox Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition while prohibited, possession of a firearm while a felon, vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to appear and misdemeanor charges possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools following an arrest on Pardee Dam Road.

2:30 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Donald Paul Bozzo, 59, of the 13600 block of Highway 26, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on the 7500 block of Andrew Lane.
