The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:05 a.m., animal complaints — A community service officer attempted to catch a rooster that was loitering in a lot on South Stewart Street, but it ran into the brush.

12:52 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man pulled up to a Greenley Road property, got out of his vehicle and went into a fenced area, where he pulled out a grocery sized bag.

2:02 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A loud car stereo came from a Greenley Road skatepark.

10:18 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man with a flashlight tried to break into a Greenley Road apartment by jiggling the doorknob.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:24 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle on Phoenix Lake Road was off the road and a man inside yelled that he was drunk and his car was stuck.

12:46 p.m., Jamestown — A person on the side of O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Highway 108 hitchhiked, but appeared to be not in good shape.

5:30 p.m., Sonora — A Route 5 Road resident said their dad passed away, but he left behind lots of bullets and shells that the resident wanted destroyed.

10:43 p.m., Sonora — A man parked on Sunny Ridge Lane yelled at a person who asked what they were doing there.

11:09 p.m., Sonora — A person on Crow Court asked for help out of her chair.

1:52 p.m., Twain Harte — Christopher Allen McKeever, 29, of Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury, damaging a telephone or power line, false imprisonment, abusing or endangering the health of a child and misdemeanor charges injuring a wireless communication device following an arrest on the 22400 block of Mono Drive.

7:57 p.m., Sonora — Eluterio Manuel Galvan, 37, of the 21300 block of Crestview Drive, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary following an arrest on the 20000 block of Phoenix Lake Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:30 a.m., Copperopolis — An alarm was heard in the area of Choctaw Road.

9:21 a.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made on Treat Avenue for local and out of county warrants.

2:20 p.m., Murphys — A lock was cut and replaced on a storage unit on Bret Harte Drive.

4:02 p.m., Arnold — People were involved in an argument on Pine Drive.

6:58 p.m., Douglas Flat — People on Main Street were involved in a landlord tenant dispute.

6:01 p.m., Angels Camp — Dakoda James Trimmer, 23, of the 1400 block of Millie Place, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a license following an arrest on Highway 49.

6:13 p.m., Camp Connell — John Edward Diegoli, 58, of the 2900 block of Kenshaw Way, was booked following an arrest on Highway 4.
