The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

2:00 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on West Bradford Avenue said her neighbors were having a loud party.

3:31 a.m., trespass/loiter — A person on Dragoon Circle said someone in her house who had been there for three hours was refusing to leave.

10:28 a.m., public intoxication — An intoxicated man was arrested after urinating on the ground in front of a South Washington Street business.

5:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person believed two people with a vehicle on Southgate Drive were suspicious, but it was determined they were waiting for their vehicle to cool after overheating.

7:56 p.m., reckless driving — A driver on South Washington Street swerved after reaching for an item that dropped.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

7:47 a.m., Sonora — A person driving on Mono Vista Road North said someone flipped him off and made rude gestures in front of his son.

1:16 p.m., Sonora — A large black cow roamed between a school and a business on Standard Road.

1:35 p.m., Chinese Camp — A man laid on the side of Highway 120 with his head on the curb.

5:40 p.m., Groveland — A man on Hemlock Street said he was approached by a driver who said he used to live in the neighborhood, but when he arrived home he found out the person stopped at his home and attempted to talk to his 8-year-old daughter.

5:55 p.m., Twain Harte — A person on Joaquin Gully Road said a man in a car tried to get her son to leave with him.
