The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:51 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man at a North Washington Street coffee shop attempted to make a shelter with trees and harassed other customers.

9:15 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men walked up to a person’s vehicle in a Columbia Way parking lot, and one of them stuck his head in the car and asking the person about their medical treatment.

12:09 p.m., reckless driving — A person on Pesce Way said a driver was drunk because he almost hit a pole while parking and took his shirt off when he got out of the vehicle, but an officer determined he was not a DUI driver.

4:50 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a Hospital Road facility said a man made her uncomfortable when he approached her and asked for a ride.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:48 a.m., Sonora — A woman at a Cuesta Court business did not look anyone in the eye and acted jittery and strange.

11:02 a.m., Tuolumne — A person on Friary Road said when a man came to his residence, looked through the window, tried to open the door, and left a Jehovah’s Witness pamphlet in the door.

1:37 p.m., Jamestown — A person at a Woods Way cemetery said homeless people were taking up residence there and were becoming more brazen with cemetery staff.

3:09 p.m., Sonora — A man whittling something with a knife in front of a Mono Way bank made customers uncomfortable.

5:44 p.m., Sonora — A person on Kincaid Flat Road said he was boarding his horse with a woman and she refused to return it to him.

8:51 a.m., Groveland — Cody Michael Crosby, 26, transient, was booked on suspicion of receiving a stolen vehicle, trailer or vessel following an arrest on Wards Ferry Road.

12:15 p.m., Sonora — Brooklynn June Osborne, 23, of the 12700 block of Chukar Circle, was booked on suspicion of possession or manufacture of a dangerous weapon following an arrest on Covey Circle.

9:40 p.m., Sonora — Jim Dyer Stone, 43, of the 18000 block of Jacobs Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm while a felon, possession of ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Kelley Ranch Road.

9:49 p.m., Sonora — Tanya Maria Elizabeth Dunlap, 30, of the 22500 block of Wildcat Ridge Road, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety, possession of a firearm while a felon and misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license and carrying a loaded firearm in public following an arrest on Kelley Ranch Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:46 a.m., Burson — Fencing materials were stolen from a Camanche Parkway South property.

11:31 a.m., Valley Springs — A firearm was discharged on Hogan Dam Road.

3:13 p.m., Glencoe — Part of a gate on Rich Gulch Road was missing.

7:18 p.m., Copperopolis — People on Tomahawk Trail were involved in a dispute.
