The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:38 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man drank from a tall can in a Greenley Road apartment complex, and a resident did not recognize him.

4:35 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person with a safety vest and a flashlight looking at vehicles on South Shepherd Street was determined to be a city employee.

9:52 a.m., theft — A purse was left in the bathroom of a Mono Way business and someone took money out of it.

3:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Three men in a vehicle outside of a Stockton Road grocery store asked people to buy them alcohol.

5:16 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone on Wyckhoff Street hit a stop sign and broke it into pieces, but it was barricaded back up by officers.

SATURDAY

2:44 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man attempted to push two carts full of electronics out of a Sanguinetti Road business, and when he was stopped, he laid on the ground.

10:38 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a vehicle on South Washington Street pointed a large round object out of the window.

4:55 p.m., theft — A person was believed to have stolen a wallet left in a cart at a South Washington Street business, but the person took the wallet to the owner’s house.

9:03 p.m., trespass/loiter — Two men were in the lobby of a Stockton Road hotel and refused to leave.

10:53 p.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — A vehicle on Mono Way was given a vehicle registration warning.

SUNDAY

12:10 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man and woman cut wood on Elk Drive and an officer determined they were clearing trees as the property owners.

2:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Four groups of men walked around a Sanguinetti Road parking lot and stared down people as they walked by.

3:17 p.m., hazardous situation — A water leak came up through the pavement on Hospital Road.

6:20 p.m., public intoxication — An intoxicated person fell down and caused a traffic hazard on South Stewart Street.

7:06 p.m., animal complaints — A brown pit bull with a black collar got out on Greenley Road and Morning Star Drive.

9:00 a.m., Groveland — The new owner of a Jimmie Bell Street residence found bb holes in the windows and believed the next-door neighbor kids were responsible.

10:16 a.m., Sonora — A drunk woman was dropped off by a taxi at a Mono Way car dealership and she passed out.

10:52 a.m., Sonora — A person on Tuolumne Road threatened to poison a person’s animals and any animal that came on their property.

3:13 p.m., Jamestown — A person on O’Byrnes Ferry Road saw two men running on the highway and believed it was suspicious.

4:00 p.m., Dardanelle — A man on a snowmobile near Highway 108, one mile west of Sonora Pass, was involved in an accident and possibly broke several ribs.

8:47 a.m., Pinecrest — A blue GMC truck slid off of the roadway while driving on Dodge Ridge Road.

2:39 p.m., Sonora — A dead deer was found when someone on Wards Ferry Road smelled something decomposing.

3:20 p.m., Sonora — A person on Johnny Avenue and Racetrack Road saw someone riding a wheelchair down the road and she was afraid the person was going to get hit.

4:22 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A person on Pine Lake Drive went for a walk and saw what they thought looked like a bowling ball had gone through the front window of a summer cabin.

9:31 p.m., Columbia — A person on Glory Gulch Road said her neighbor put speed bumps and a speed limit sign on her road.

2:45 a.m., Sonora — A man urinated in a Mono Way parking lot and when he was confronted, he approached a person like he was going to fight, but then he left in a red truck.

7:26 a.m., Sonora — A car on Wards Ferry Road faced the wrong direction and was partially in a ditch.

9:03 a.m., Sonora — A person on Hatler Drive found three swords on the side of their house.

2:38 p.m., Sonora — A large explosion was heard in the area of Stage Coach Drive.

9:34 p.m., Jamestown — Two men on Chicken Ranch Road said their vehicle was stolen.

10:01 p.m., Twain Harte — Andrew Kwan Ming Blackmore, 36, of the 22300 block of Ponderosa Drive, was booked on suspicion inflicting corporal injury following an arrest at his home.
