The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
8:03 a.m., theft — Tools were stolen from a truck while it was parked on Gold Street during the night.

10:35 a.m., fraudulent activities — A person who tried to pass two counterfeit $1 bills at a Stockton Road gas station said his mother gave them to him, and later, when he was confronted by an officer, the person said he threw them away in a trash.

3:05 p.m., lost, found property — Someone left their credit card on top of a Pesce Way gas station pump.

5:27 p.m., theft — A grease gun, a backpack sprayer and gas cans were stolen from the back of a work truck on South Stewart Street.

5:51 p.m., animal complaints — A German shepherd roamed outside of a Calaveras Way residence.

1:50 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A vehicle repeatedly drove by a Church Street residence.

3:32 p.m., Murphys — A commercial alarm sounded on Main Street.

7:02 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported on California Street.
