The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
8:15 a.m., traffic accidents — Someone crashed a vehicle into someone’s backyard on Snell Street.

10:16 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man yelled in the back of a probation building on South Stewart Street.

10:24 a.m., lost, found property — A cut-off ankle monitor was found in a ditch off of Mono Way.

3:07 p.m., theft — Fuel lines were cut on vehicles parked at a South Washington Street business.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:06 a.m., Sonora — A man parked his car on Kewin Mill Road overnight due to the snow and discovered the next morning it had been broken into and work equipment stolen.

8:25 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on Starr King Drive reported fraud on her credit card.

12:03 p.m., Jamestown — A large amount of cardboard flew out of a truck driving on Highway 108.

6:04 p.m., Sonora — A man with a beard, gray hair, camouflage clothing and possibly carrying a gun was in a school parking lot on North Washington Street.

10:54 p.m., Sonora — A Mono Way sign that said “Keep Right” with an arrow on it fell upside down and pointed in the wrong direction.

11:20 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Railbed Road believed her roommates were trying to break into her room, but then thought they were just trying to scare her.

TUESDAY

12:50 a.m., Jamestown — Megan Joy Corcoran, 23, of the 1900 block of Manzanita Drive, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license for prior DUIs following an arrest on Highway 120.

TUESDAY

4:45 p.m., Sonora — Alayna Marie Moro, 43, of the 21200 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of attempted arson, vandalism and a felony probation violation following an arrest at her home.

8:28 p.m., Sonora — Juan Martin Larez, 53, of the 9300 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance following an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
1:25 a.m., Valley Springs — A person on Rose Street complained about loud music.

7:45 a.m., Arnold — A green Subaru blocked a snowplow on East Mokelumne Drive and a person complained the street had not been plowed.

1:24 p.m., San Andreas — A person on Jeff Tuttle Drive claimed they were a victim of forgery.

5:32 p.m., Valley Springs — A disturbance was reported on Driver Road.

11:24 p.m., San Andreas — A traffic stop was initiated on West Saint Charles Street.

1:50 a.m., Paloma — Mason Paul Aubrey, 25, of the 400 block of Indian Hill Road, Copperopolis, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child with possible injury or death and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence following an arrest on Watertown Road.

4:29 a.m., Angels Camp — Jason Peter Conrado, 39, of the 200 block of Clifton Lane, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest at his home.
