The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
2:01 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Loud music came from a restaurant on South Washington Street, but an officer determined that the music came from a closed business and it was not loud enough to disturb the peace.

4:29 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Yaney Avenue heard a broken water pipe.

1:59 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on Olive Street said her roommate broke through her door and “took a swing at her.”

5:42 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman yelled, screamed and was belligerent outside of a South Washington Street gas station.

6:57 p.m., trespass/loiter — Two men sat on the front porch of a South Washington Street home.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:33 a.m., Sonora — A Tuolumne County transit bus was stuck in the snow on Phoenix Lake Road.

8:54 a.m., Long Barn — A person at a Highway 108 trailer park said that a person that plowed in the area threw a shovel at his truck and caused damage.

10:35 a.m., Jamestown — A man who was seen running through a yard on Wigwam Road dropped a hypodermic needle.

5:58 p.m., Groveland — A 32 inch pine tree fell across Big Creek Shaft Road.

10:20 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A man at a Highway 108 restaurant talked about “needing to leave” and an assault before he was asked to leave the bar.

SATURDAY

1:02 a.m., Sonora — A person on Lime Kiln Road saw a golden retriever stopped in the road and followed it down a driveway because she believed “the dog was trying to tell her something.”

10:59 a.m., Sonora — A person on Crystal Falls Drive said a blocked culvert was causing sinkholes on her property.

1:07 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Highway 108 found a dead goat hung in a tree.

9:45 p.m., Columbia — A person on Parrotts Ferry Road saw a large mountain lion walk through her property on a surveillance camera.

SUNDAY

2:35 a.m., Sonora — A person knocked on the backdoor of a Wagon Wheel Road property and asked for her phone.

11:45 a.m., Sonora — Trash was dumped illegally into the trash container of a South Creekside Drive resident.

6:11 p.m., Jamestown — A woman wrapped in a black sleeping bag was lying down on the side of Golf Links Road.

8:59 p.m., Tuolumne — A vehicle was unoccupied and on it's side on Tuolumne Road North.

9:53 p.m., Twain Harte — Light bulbs were blowing out and an outlet smoked and sparked at a Highway 108 property.


MONDAY

1:13 a.m., Sonora — A person on Tinnin Road talked about microwaving peanut butter because she was alone at her residence and she had no idea how she got there. She added that a man was in jail so she had no food and couldn’t take care of herself.

8:12 a.m., Jamestown — Two small children, approximately 7 years old, walked with backpacks and in pajamas on Fifth Avenue.
11:15 a.m., Sonora — A dog came into the yard of a Christine May Lane home and killed a woman’s chickens and ducks.

2:34 p.m., Sonora — In the last nine days, a white Toyota Celica drove past the house of a Crystal Lake Drive resident and stopped at the mailbox 28 times.

9:32 p.m., Jamestown — Dogs on Jacksonville Road attacked four buffalo over a 30 minute period.

9:50 a.m., Jamestown — Dale Eugene Bishop, 52, of the 19900 block of Panorama Place, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of a specific controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale, possession of a firearm while a felon or addict and misdemeanor charges possession of controlled substances without a prescription following an arrest on Sierra Avenue.

2:11 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Nicholas Robert Rose, 32, of the 17800 block of Lucky Strike Trail, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury following an arrest on the 20600 block of Chief Fuller Way.

5:12 p.m., Hathaway Pines — Vandalism occurred on Highway 4.

6:03 p.m., San Andreas — No report was taken after a traffic stop on East Saint Charles Street.
