The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY
1:13 p.m., warrant arrests — An older man was arrested outside of a Sanguinetti Road business after he asked an employee to hide a couple of bags for him because he was in trouble.

3:30 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone’s debit card was used to order at a Mono Way fast food restaurant.

4:30 p.m., public intoxication — A man passed out drunk near a North Forest Road church.

6:21 p.m., lost, found property — A person lost a watch at a South Washington Street bar.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:14 a.m., Jamestown — A woman walked without shoes on Highway 108 and Stockton Road.

8:37 a.m., Twain Harte — Three cars were involved in a pile-up on Highway 108 and Confidence Road.

1:03 p.m., Sonora — A man on Resort Road asked if a deputy could tell his neighbor not to use a tractor to clear out the area in front of his house.

8:53 p.m., Twain Harte — A man returned to his Golf Club Drive residence and found a strange truck in the driveway, footprints around the house, and surveillance footage of a man banging on his door.

9:55 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle was in a ditch on Tuolumne Road.

1:11 a.m., Murphys — A man came to the desk of a Main Street property and made inappropriate gestures.

11 a.m., Copperopolis — A man hung around an area on Town Square Road.

11:51 a.m., Wilseyville — A woman yelled on the side of Blue Mountain Road.

12:13 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A trailer on Jesus Maria Road was burglarized and vandalized.

3:06 p.m., Jackson — Henry Brentaul Buris, 41, of the 200 block of South Railroad Flat Road, Railroad Flat, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on Highway 49.
