The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

5:46 a.m., hazardous situation — A vehicle drove into an embankment across from a Mono Way business.

8:23 a.m., traffic accidents — Three vehicles were stuck on East Lyons Street because of a hill and at least one went through a fence in a front yard.

1:34 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman who was told multiple times she was not allowed in a Mono Way restaurant sat at the counter of the restaurant.

8:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man without a shirt yelled in front of a South Forest Road property.

11:04 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man dug through garbage and unplugged soda machines at a South Washington Street hotel.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:38 a.m., Columbia — Someone dumped trash in the area of Yankee Hill Road.

10:02 a.m., Long Barn — A woman was cornered in a bathroom and pushed after issuing an assault report.

11:21 a.m., Chinese Camp — A woman on Red Hills Road called her doctor’s office because she was upset about her house flooding and half of her roof falling off.

12:43 p.m., Sonora — A man on Terrace Drive believed his neighbor waited for him to come home so he could urinate off his deck into the street.

4:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A tree was uprooted and falling over across the street from a Fuller Road post office.

9:00 p.m., Sonora — A person on Phoenix Lake Road called 911 because her husband was choking but declined an ambulance because he was safe now.

TUESDAY

2:00 a.m., Sonora — A person on Phoenix Lake Road said a tree went through his house.

3:15 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Black Bart Drive saw footprints in the snow where someone went through their neighbor’s shed and their cars and took small items.

11:34 a.m., Sonora — A man at a South Greene Street administrative building tried to open the window of the building after receiving his birth certificate and asked strange questions.

2:59 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle driving on Alice Lane pulled children on a surfboard down the road.

6:19 p.m., Sonora — A transformer on Good Shepherd Road lit on fire.

3:35 p.m., Sonora — Justin William Goggles Jr., 33, of the first block of South Arbona Circle, was booked following an arrest on the 10900 block of Belmont Drive.

12:39 a.m., Soulsbyville — James Byron Wood, 34, of the 10900 block of Racetrack Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on North Sunshine Road.

12:00 p.m., Tuolumne — James Eugene Fryer, 49, of the 20200 block of Seven Pines Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges possession of fireworks without a permit following an arrest at his home.

2:00 p.m., Sonora — Carlton August Schuster, 28, of the 2400 block of Langford Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of selling in lieu of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in jail, committing a felony while on bail and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on the 22400 block of South Airport Road.

TUESDAY

10:23 a.m., Jamestown — Marlana Marie Sindicic, 22, of the 1200 block of Heather Lane, Livermore, was booked on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on the 17100 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

1:15 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A dog barked and whined on South Main Street due to the cold weather.

10:24 a.m., Copperopolis — A woman on Copper Cove Drive walked in the rain.

1:16 p.m., Valley Springs — A residential alarm sounded on Grisham Road.

5:25 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A suspicious vehicle was seen on Highway 26.

7:56 p.m., San Andreas — No report was taken after a traffic stop on Treat Avenue.
