The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY
9:08 a.m., graffiti — A person on Woods Creek Drive found graffiti in a woman’s restroom.

11:06 a.m., parking — Two vehicles parked for over eight hours a day in the three-hour parking spaces on West Dodge Street.

1:22 p.m., traffic accidents — A blue Nissan Altima and a white Ford F350 were involved in a non-injury vehicle accident on Stockton Road.

4:50 p.m., warrant arrests — A group of four juveniles smoked a substance behind a Sylva Lane business.

7:57 p.m., any civil problem — A man in dark clothing on North Washington Street threatened a person’s son.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

5:40 a.m., Sonora — A man pounded on the door of a Bald Mountain Road residence and said he was under the influence of methamphetamine.

8:35 a.m., Jamestown — A transient was found living and defecating behind a Main Street gold-prospecting business.

9:43 a.m., Sonora — A neighbor of an Eel River Drive residence frequently went to the home and told new renters that the house was full of mold and not safe.

7:24 p.m., Sonora — Two men in a Toyota truck with a dog in the back cased an Upper Hillview Drive residence.

10:18 p.m., Sonora — A water line was broken in a shopping center on Mono Way.

1:53 a.m., Sonora — Kyle Caleb Sumpter, 25, of the 20700 block of Morgan Drive, Groveland, was booked following an arrest on Campo Seco Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

4:15 a.m., San Andreas — Calls for help were heard on High School Street, but deputies did not locate anyone in distress.

8:13 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was seen on Pine Street.

4:40 p.m., Angels Camp — A person walked in the middle of Highway 49.

6:36 p.m., Valley Springs — A person on Lewis Way repeatedly violated a court order.

6:54 p.m., Railroad Flat — A lock was cut on a gate on John Deer Road.

2:33 p.m., San Andreas — Jason Wesley Andahl, 34, of the first block of West Saint Charles Street, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize, felony probation violation and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence and contempt of court for violation of a protective order following an arrest on the first block of West Saint Charles Street.
