The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY
2:49 a.m., threats — A person who said he was in the military knocked on the door of a South Shepherd Street home and threatened to kill the resident.

7:12 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man backed his vehicle with a camper shell into a Saratoga Road resident’s driveway and walked to the back of the property, but when he was confronted he said he was looking for a home for rent.

10:22 a.m., theft — A student stole a ukelele from another student at a Greenley Road school.

2:52 p.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle backed into a parked Toyota 4Runner on Shaws Flat Road and left the scene.

3:06 p.m., theft — A man pushed an empty store shopping cart away from a Mono Way grocery store.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

4:01 a.m., Jamestown — A person at a Chabroullian Road residence pulled an emergency alarm, but because the locks were changed, they couldn’t get inside.

8:06 a.m., Sonora — A man in a red flannel shirt sat on a rock and stared at children as they were getting dropped off at Standard Road property.

6:35 p.m., La Grange — A fire was reported at a church on Abeto Street.

10:46 p.m., Sonora — A Dodge truck with purple lights on the undercarriage did burnouts in the parking lot of a Tuolumne Road church.

11:15 p.m., Sonora — People on Palomino Court caused a disturbance with banging noises.

10:20 a.m., Sonora — Brian Lee Shrader, 32, transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary, criminal conspiracy and committing a felony while out on bail or own recognizance following an arrest on the 13200 block of Mono Way.

10:20 a.m., Sonora — Jeremy Michael Tosto, 41, transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary, criminal conspiracy and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger following an arrest on the 13200 block of Mono Way.

10:20 a.m., Sonora — Jerome Lydon Zylstra, 47, transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary, criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance following an arrest on the 13200 block of Mono Way.
11:15 p.m., Soulsbyville — Tiffany Marie Morris, 25, of the 12600 block of Yankee Hill Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of false impersonation of another and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on the 20400 block of Sherry Lane.

7:38 a.m., Valley Springs — Tools were stolen on Gold King Drive.

8:25 a.m., Murphys — People were involved in an argument on Tom Bell Road

10:41 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Mail was stolen from a Potteroff Road property.

2:14 p.m., San Andreas — A disturbance was reported on Mountain Ranch Road.
7:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A residential alarm sounded on Gold Nugget Drive.
