The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY
1:35 a.m., Sonora — A tree branch that was blocking the roadway was removed from East Lyons Street and Greenley Road.

10:08 a.m., controlled substances — Two men were in a vehicle that was filled with smoke and smelled like a drug in front of a Stockton Road business.

11:09 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man at a Stockton Road business threatened a customer with a gun when the customer asked to use the restroom.

8:24 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An intoxicated woman was at a South Washington Street home but later left the scene.

10:23 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person believed a man on South Washington Street stole a woman’s purse and attempted to run her over three times in the parking lot, but an officer contacted both parties and determined that was untrue.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:31 a.m., Sonora — A metal post for a 25 mph hour sign on Campo Seco Road and Lime Kiln Road was broken.

8:02 a.m., Sonora — A person on Paseo De Los Robles put an ad in the newspaper to sell her motorcycle for $7,500, and then a person sent her a fraudulent check for $12,400 and harassed her to return it when she wouldn’t deposit it.

8:19 a.m., Groveland — A person broke into an Oak Grove Circle property and stole all the living room furniture.

1:50 p.m., Sonora — A person on Longeway Road said people were drinking and dumping trash on her lot at night.

3:10 p.m., Sonora — A person was delivering a meal to a Rugged Trail resident, but they had a note on their door that said “Don’t even bother knocking, just leave.”

WEDNESDAY

6:45 a.m., Sonora — A person on Old Sonora Columbia Road said her ex-boyfriend posted inappropriate videos of her online, but she hadn’t seen him in eight years.

9:28 a.m., Soulsbyville — People in a motorhome on Mono Vista Road threw garbage and glass all over the property.

8:07 p.m., Twain Harte — A transformer went down in the middle of Golf Club Drive.

11:16 p.m., Twain Harte — A large pine tree blocked both lanes of Fuller Road.


THURSDAY

6:44 a.m., Sonora — A suspicious man ran from a Greenley Road medical building after he was seen peeking into a patient’s window.

2:46 p.m., Columbia — A woman on Springfield Road said her son was “11 beers in” and becoming violent.

5:04 p.m., Sonora — A person attempted to steal the register from a Mono Way business and, when he failed to do so, he took the tip jar.

5:43 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A person on Jeanita Lane said a tree fell on their neighbor’s roof.

6:51 p.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way tried to purchase shoes, but when he didn’t have any money he showed a person a pipe.

11:34 a.m., Soulsbyville — Joseph Clarence Eastman, 36, of the 22400 block of Upper Quail Mine Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of transport of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a firearm while a felon, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm and misdemeanor charges delivering drug paraphernalia following an arrest on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road.

11:18 a.m., Sonora — Eric Matthew Henderson, 47, of the 23700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, theft from an elder and unlawful use of personal identifying information following an arrest on the 19400 block of Village Drive.

5:48 p.m., Tuolumne — David Robert Mussenden, 56, of the 23000 block of Oxbow Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of first degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, first degree burglary, vehicle theft and misdemeanor charges resisting a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and vandalism following an arrest on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

9:40 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone used money from a Treosti Place resident’s bank account for an online transaction.

9:46 a.m., Valley Springs — A commercial alarm sounded on Nove Way.

1:40 p.m., Angels Camp — A person trespassed on a Highway 49 property.

11:09 p.m., Murphys — A suspicious vehicle was seen on South Algiers Street.
