The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:56 a.m., parking citation — A green vehicle took up two spaces in front of a North Washington law office and was issued a ticket.

11:33 a.m., theft — A person left a jacket containing their wallet and identification at a Sanguinetti Road business.

12:48 p.m., traffic accidents — A woman was verbally abusive to staff of a South Washington Street hotel.

3:13 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man without pants dug in the dirt with large shears at the intersection of Sanguinetti Road and Greenley Road.

7:58 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A person at a Greenley Road apartment complex said people vandalized her car by slashing a tire and attempting to siphon gas from it.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:53 a.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way used power tools in his yard while his neighbors tried to sleep.

4:32 a.m., Columbia — A person on Raney Road believed a bear was up on his deck and going through his trash.

7:33 a.m., Sonora — Two loose horses ran in the middle of Mono Way near the intersection with Hess Avenue.

11:23 p.m., Twain Harte — A person driving a truck on Middle Camp Road ran into an owl.

12:21 a.m., Sonora — Jonathon Keith Mayfield, 35, of the 10500 block of Wind Mill Lane, Jamestown, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

7:46 p.m., Sonora — Thomas Scott Willis, 29, of the 17200 block of Eslavida Road, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

11:28 p.m., Murphys — People on Main Street believed someone was repeatedly in violation of a restraining order.
