The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
7:06 a.m., animal complaints — Multiple dogs were left outside an Oak Street residence during a storm, but a community service officer determined they had shelter.

12:49 p.m., theft — Two male juveniles stole a backpack from a customer of a South Washington Street grocery store.

1:15 p.m., reckless driving — A large panel truck with “Bimbo” on the outside drove slowly, very fast, and off the roadway a few times on Pesce Way.

4:20 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A person on East Bald Mountain Road requested contact with an officer about someone who was harassing him and his girlfriend.

11:51 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman at a Greenley Road hospital may have been drugged while drinking at a downtown bar, and appeared afraid of a man in the lobby of the hospital.


SATURDAY

11:24 a.m., traffic accidents — A business vehicle ran into a railing on Stockton Road and South Forest Street and the vehicle was towed.

3:46 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man was locked inside a men’s restroom on Woods Creek Drive and fire officials opened the door.

4:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man appeared to be messing with something underneath the dashboard of a vehicle parked in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

6:49 p.m., traffic accidents — A person with a green Toyota pickup truck believed someone with a white Ford Bronco hit his car earlier in the day and drove away.

9:03 p.m., theft — A woman stole a bottle of alcohol from a Sanguinetti Road business and sat with a man under a gazebo.

SUNDAY

10:03 a.m., hazardous situation — A tree was down on Fairview Lane and fell across cable wires.

11:50 a.m., any civil problem — A person on Stockton Road requested contact with an officer over a dispute about a coin and what substance it was made of.

12:46 p.m., theft — Two men pushed several shopping carts on Stockton Road, and after an officer contacted them it was agreed that the carts would be returned.

2:11 p.m., lost, found property — A black and metallic striped planner with a bear paw sticker on it was left in ashopping cart at a Sanguinetti Road business, and someone took it.

5:25 p.m., hazardous situation — A person on South Washington Street said they were stuck on a curb and partially blocking traffic, but an officer determined the vehicle was not blocking traffic.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:36 a.m., Long Barn — A fire was seen inside a tree on Mono Drive.

1:42 p.m., Jamestown — A person at a Preston Lane apartment complex heard things being thrown and a person say “I don’t want to go back to jail … you know there is a warrant out for my arrest.”

5:50 p.m., La Grange — A Las Cruces resident accused her neighbor’s cows of destroying several of her $25,000 trees and was terrified that cows with horns were going to break through her backdoor into her house.

8:35 p.m., Tuolumne — A Mi Wu Street resident believed someone kept coming to her residence, taking her clothes and leaving smaller ones in their place.

9:10 p.m., Twain Harte — A man entered a Joaquin Gully Road business, grabbed a “Four Loko” and walked out.

SATURDAY

9:22 a.m., Columbia — A Rambler Road resident said her neighbor’s tree fell and took down power lines.

10:48 a.m., Jamestown — A 60-pound bronze statue of a naked, kneeling woman was stolen from the front porch of a La Grange Road resident.

11:33 a.m., Tuolumne — Approximately three rock slides occured on Buchanan Road.

6:58 p.m., Sonora — A person came up to a Racetrack Road resident and asked if it was Calaveras Way, and when he was told it wasn’t, he said he would be back.

9:54 p.m., Jamestown — A Peoria Flat Road resident had a large party, and a neighbor believed underage kids were there.

SUNDAY

7:51 a.m., Sonora — A Lime Kiln Road resident heard a loud crash and discovered a deer had fallen into her pool. Animal Control was contacted because the deer was swimming in the water and could not get out.

10:56 a.m., Jamestown — A person believed someone in a vehicle on Highway 108 was using a bong.

1:17 p.m., Sonora — A man and woman attempted to push open a door at a Awahanee Road property.

7:15 p.m., Jamestown — A man upstairs above an antique store and a pizza restaurant urinated off his deck before laying down.

10:14 p.m., Pinecrest — A Pinecrest Lake Avenue resident said his girlfriend was drunk and belligerent and he wanted her to leave.

9:44 p.m., Sonora — Cole Bryant Groza, 32, of the 18200 block of Via Serena Road, was booked following an arrest on Lime Kiln Road.

7:51 p.m., Sonora — Mary Elizabeth Booth, 47, of the 23500 of Old Meuli Trail, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges child endangerment and driving with license suspended for DUI following an arrest on the 100 block of Dossi Way.

12:44 p.m., Sonora — David Robert Luque, 31, of the 20100 block of Soulsbyville Road, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, first degree burglary, grand theft and misdemeanor charges receiving known stolen property and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Sanguinetti Road.

3:23 p.m., Sonora — Troy Michael McNulty, 49, transient, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize following an arrest on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.

11:13 p.m., Sonora — Dawn Danalda Ellis, 59, of the 15700 block of Wood Street, Delhi, was booked on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor charges possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Highway 49.

7:06 p.m., Jamestown — Benjamin Michael Ross, 32, of the 11800 block of Campo Seco Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of crimes against an elder and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence following an arrest at his home.

9:50 p.m., Jamestown — Lonnie Don Garner, 36, of the 600 block of Marshall Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of false impersonation of another and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Main Street.

12:18 a.m., Jamestown — Michael Dean Brown, 45, of the 8100 block of Mondo Lane, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and criminal conspiracy following an arrest on the 18400 block of Jamestown Road.

2:39 a.m., Jamestown — Jeanine Marie Brown, 48, of the 18400 block of Jamestown Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale following an arrest at her home.
