TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
2:46 a.m., unclassified — A person on Bald Mountain Road heard a loud crash in front of their house and saw a car with its hazard lights on, but it was determined to be a vehicle that detached from a tow.

1:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man and woman got out of a vehicle at a Greenley Road apartment complex, walked up a nearby hill, left a backpack there, then walked away.

1:50 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A person on Maple Street believed her neighbor filmed her and another person whenever they went outside or were in the neighborhood.

1:51 p.m., trespass/loiter — A new trailer was parked on Truckenmiller Road and someone in the area believed people were living in it.

11:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A suspicious person was seen sitting around in a recliner in front of a South Shepherd Street store, but he said he was homeless and in town for a court date this week.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:16 a.m., Jamestown — A woman in a black top and and orange skirt accused someone on Woods Way of “desecrating the cemetery.”

12:18 p.m., Sonora — A person saw smoke in the area of Tuolumne Road but was notified that Cal Fire was conducting a controlled burn.

4:47 p.m., Sonora — An injured turkey was stuck on an awning on Cavalieri Road.

5:11 p.m., Sonora — A person at a Tinnin Road residence heard the sound of someone banging on pipes somewhere in their home, and believed it was coming from the crawl space.

8:45 p.m., Long Barn — A person at a Fraser Flat Road campground received a text message from a friend that said when the friend’s phone dies, a ping will be sent of the phone’s last location and his body will be located 10 yards from there.

2:20 a.m., Jamestown — Zachariah Fezler, 35, of the 3500 block of Longbridge Drive, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of false impersonation of another and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

9:29 p.m., Tuolumne — James Joseph Armbright, 27, of the 19400 block of Mi Wu Street, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence following an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:27 a.m., Burson — A vehicle was seen on Jenny Lind Road with no license plate.

10:13 a.m., San Andreas — A person on a Calaveritas Road property reported helmets being stolen.

11:48 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — People were believed to be living on a Highway 49 property.

5:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A window was broken at a Saint Andrews Road property as a resident did yard work.

7:27 p.m., San Andreas — People were heard on Russell Road yelling about moving a fence.
