The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY
8:49 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man drove in a parking lot on Old Wards Ferry Road and harassed women. When contacted, he said security was harassing him and he did nothing wrong.

10:22 a.m., animal complaints — Two pit bulls attacked feral cats on South Barretta Street and their caretaker believed the dogs killed one of them.

12:54 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man passed out in the entrance of a South Washington Street business.

3:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person chased another person behind a Sanguinetti Road business.

8:39 p.m., trespass/loiter — An Oregon Street resident received a call from a neighbor who said the lights were on in his house.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY
12:43 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Nelson Road saw someone outside with a gun.

2:32 p.m., Sonora — A Belleview Road resident said his tenant’s brother worked on his air conditioning unit with faulty parts and probably stole his phone, which contained evidence of fraud.

5:24 p.m., Strawberry — An aggressive pit bull almost attacked a couple as they walked along Fraser Flat Road.

8:02 p.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way saw transients in the area and then the light go on in a basement.

9:15 a.m., San Andreas — A person was believed to be living in bushes on Treat Avenue.

2:52 p.m., San Andreas — Someone flew a drone above Pool Station Road.

11:26 p.m., Arnold — A person on Lakemont Drive heard a scream.

2:31 a.m., Angels Camp — Richard Anthony Serva, 29, of Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury, parole violation and misdemeanor charges child cruelty after an arrest on Main Street.

11:30 a.m., Murphys — Son Nguyen, 37, of the 5900 block of Fullen Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, keeping a place to sell a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges marijuana cultivation after an arrest at his home.

3:20 p.m., West Point — Macario Ray Gurion, 27, of the 600 block of Bald Mountain Road, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of post-release supervision after an arrest at his home.

11:02 p.m., Valley Springs — Ricky Allen Manley II, 30, of the 7200 block of Stabulis Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence, a special allegation that his blood alcohol level was more than 0.15, a specific traffic offense and misdemeanor probation violation after an arrest at his home.
