TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
10:15 a.m., parking citation — An abandoned vehicle was left at the end of a cul de sac on Mill Villa Court.

12:01 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A young man took up three spaces with his vehicle at a South Washington Street post office and, when confronted by a passerby, he threatened the passerby and took a photo of the passerby’s license plate.

4:55 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man paced back and forth in front of a Stockton Road business.

10:06 p.m., traffic violations — An intoxicated group of women went through a Mono Way fast food restaurant drive-through with alcoholic beverages. When they were later contacted by an officer it was determined that only the passengers were drinking.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:55 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A person at a Chief Fuller Way post office was concerned about a man who continually charged his cell phone at an outlet outside the business.

10:28 a.m., Sonora — Five men with red bandanas were seen loitering on Beckwith Road.

2:39 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was seen “tagging” a bridge on Jacksonville Road.

9:12 p.m., Sonora — A Partridge Way resident said he was being harassed when his downstairs neighbor asked him to “quiet down.”

11:16 p.m., La Grange — An Enramada Drive resident believed she heard a person on her roof attempting to unscrew things.

4:19 p.m., Tuolumne — Zachariah Raymond Guzman Jr., 19, transient, was booked on suspicion of resisting a peace officer resulting in serious bodily injury or death and obstructing an executive officer after an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:21 a.m., Wilseyville — Yelling was heard on Bald Mountain Road.

8:36 a.m., Valley Springs — A generator was taken from a South Petersburg Road property.

12:04 p.m., Glencoe — Someone cut cables and took batteries from a vehicle parked on Highway 26.

3:09 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — People appeared to be fighting in a vehicle traveling on Highway 49.

7:06 p.m., Valley Springs — A man on Highway 26 walked around with a crowbar.

8:06 a.m., West Point — Barry Edward Delmonte, 22, of the 3700 block of Bald Mountain Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and misdemeanor charges damaging or destroying a wireless device.

12:45 p.m., Copperopolis — Roland Louis Heathington, 34, of the 200 block of Bridle Point Circle, was booked on suspicion of violation of the terms of his post-release community supervision following an arrest at his home.
