The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
9:10 a.m., trespass/loiter — A person on Bonanza Road believed someone was squatting in a nearby residence.

9:26 a.m., graffiti — A city sign on East Church Street was found to have graffiti on it.
10:57 a.m., suspicious circumstances —A South Stewart Street resident believed a female transient was living on her front porch at night.

11:58 a.m., parking — A person on Columbia Way put up “No Parking” signs on a public street and was advised that anyone could park in the area as long as they did not block his gate.

2:28 p.m., unclassified — A tree limb fell on top of a vehicle parked on Theall Street.

11:24 p.m., traffic accidents — A person on Mono Way believed a pedestrian versus vehicle accident may have occurred.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
1:47 a.m., Sonora — A Lakeside Drive resident believed people were dressed like trees outside her home and threatening to kill her.

7:26 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A person on Wards Ferry Road threatened someone and then left drunk on a motorcycle.

8:50 a.m., Sonora — Tenants at a Crystal Lake Drive property poured ice cream on the carpet and sofa, stole items from the kitchen, soaked cotton balls in oil that started a fire in an ashtray, took down personal pictures from the wall and poured soda in the refrigerator.

5:17 p.m., Sonora — More than eight juveniles smoked on Covey Circle and caused a disturbance.

5:23 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Highway 108 said a “looney toon” was walking on the white line of the westbound lane.

6:10 a.m., Jamestown — Michael Ray Climer, 40, of the 3000 block of Seneca Drive, Denair, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

2:09 a.m., Sonora — Todd Martin Pankey, 39, of the 19900 block of Mountain Misery Lane, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Highway 108.

10:45 a.m., Sonora — Lindon Martin Hill, 58, transient, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release community supervision following an arrest on Washington Street.

1:50 p.m., Jamestown — Zoe Le Ann Patane, 40, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary and elder abuse following an arrest at her home.

7:15 p.m., Twain Harte — Jarean Michele Battle, 31, transient, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and inflicting injury upon a child following an arrest on the 22900 block of Meadow Drive.


CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
1:06 a.m., Copperopolis — A Sunrise Road resident issued a noise complaint and the suspected parties subsequently turned down the music.

2:00 a.m., San Andreas — People were involved in an argument on Beverlynn Lane, but were separated for the night.

10:48 a.m., Murphys — Items were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Scott Street.

7:15 p.m., Murphys — A motorist was assisted on Big Trees Road.

11:36 p.m., Glencoe — A suspicious person was noticed by a deputy on Ponderosa Way.

12:15 p.m., Wilseyville — Miguel Sanchez Gomez, 18, of Bakersfield, was booked on suspicion of marijuana cultivation with priors, misdemeanor marijuana cultivation and obstructing a peace officer following an arrest on the 7500 block of Schaad Road.

10:59 p.m., Angels Camp — Shaun Nicholas Johnson, 30, of the 1400 block of Railroad Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor charges being under the influence of a controlled substance following an arrest on the 200 block of South Main Street.
