FRIDAY
3:46 a.m., trespass/loiter — Two people threw trash from garbage bins on South Washington Street.

2:50 p.m., traffic violations — A group of people drove recklessly on Gerrymander Avenue and dragged a resident’s recycling can down the road.

4:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A 55-gallon barrel of non-hazardous soil was seen on the side of South Washington Street.

8:08 p.m., controlled substances — A woman and an older man smoked at a Woods Creek Drive park.


SATURDAY

5:51 a.m., trespass/loiter — Two people slept on benches on West Bradford Avenue for the past two nights.

4:48 p.m., theft — A suspected thief filled two cooler bags with unpaid food items and left a Mono Way business on foot.

5:22 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man at a Mono Way business appeared to be intoxicated and passed out in a restroom.

9:33 p.m., animal complaints — A medium-sized dog ran in the middle of Sanguinetti Road.

10:51 p.m., theft — A person on Southgate Drive said a woman was assaulted and her purse was taken.

7:04 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man passed out or was sleeping in an alley between stores on South Washington Street.

11:50 a.m., lost, found property — A person knocked on a Summit Avenue door late in the night to return a wallet that was found at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

12:55 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman harassed and bothered customers in a Sanguinetti Road store when she attempted to sell them gift cards.

2:50 p.m., animal complaints — A man gave his dog to a woman at a Stockton Road motel so that the dog could be watched, and the woman gave the dog away.

4:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A South Washington Street business may have taken in a counterfeit $100 bill, but an officer determined that the bill was real.

10:52 a.m., Twain Harte — A person walked around the neighborhood of King Arthur’s Court and looked at people’s houses.

12:01 p.m., Groveland — A family arrived at a Mills Street home for a vacation, but when they were making breakfast a woman came in through the back door and said it was her house and they had to leave.

4:17 p.m., Soulsbyville — A person on Carlozzi Drive gave people identifying themselves as the IRS about $1,000 on Google Play cards.

7:43 p.m., Columbia — A man on Upper Quail Mine road left threatening messages on his neighbor’s phone and stood in his yard screaming.

10:30 p.m., Groveland — A person on Ferretti road heard a barrage of gun shots.

2:28 a.m., Tuolumne — A cab driver on Laurel Avenue said he was threatened with physical harm by his passengers, who were also letting the air out of his tires.

6:58 a.m., Long Barn — A person at a Highway 108 business found a large empty box of fireworks labeled “Escalon Booster Club.”

3:56 p.m., Jamestown — Two juveniles stole a 12-pack of Budweiser beer from a Main Street store.

5:55 p.m., Groveland — A Cresthaven Drive resident was accused of leaving his three dogs alone at his home for a week at a time with no food or water.

10 p.m., Strawberry — Fireworks were set up in the Herring Creek area.

10:18 a.m., Tuolumne — A man passed out near a gas station on Tuolumne Road North and was so drunk he could not walk.

12:46 p.m., Sonora — A person on Lime Kiln Road argued with a person who may have been intoxicated and driving a motorcycle with a child on the back of it.

5:26 p.m., Jamestown — A driver on Wigwam Road was flagged down by a man who said he was hit over the head with a shovel by an unknown woman, but the driver declined to give him a ride.

7 p.m., Jamestown — People who had been drinking near a lake on Tulloch Dam Road argued.

9:45 p.m., Sonora — A person on Moon Light Hill road heard “loud bass music.”
