Sonora Lions to hold Omelet Breakfast
The Sonora Lions Club will hold an Omelet Breakfast June 23 at the Tuolumne County Senior Center.
The breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. and will include a choice of toppings, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice.
Cost is $10 per adult. Children 6 and younger eat free.
Tickets can be purchased from Frank Meckler by calling (209) 206-0136, from any Sonora Lions Club member or at the door.
The Senior Center is at 540 Greenley Road in Sonora.
Barbecue will benefit Cedar Ridge Fire Department
A tri tip barbecue set for June 30 will benefit the Cedar Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.
The event will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., and dinner will be served beginning at 4 p.m. at the lower lake in Cedar Ridge, off of Hillsdale Drive.
Cost for the meal is $10 for adults and $6 for kids 10 and younger, who will receive a hot dog meal.
The event will include prize drawings and swimming.

Pancake breakfast will benefit fire district
An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on July 7 will benefit the Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire District.
The breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. and will include scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, milk, juice and hot chocolate.
Cost for breakfast is $8 per adult and $3 for children 10 and younger.
Farm Bureau Barbecue, auction set for July 20
The Tuolumne County Farm Bureau will hold its annual Barbecue and Auction July 20 at Hurst Ranch in Jamestown.
No-host social time will begin at 5 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Sponsorship levels are:
• Platinum, $800, includes 16 dinner tickets, 80 drink tickets, sponsor table, banner on stage, event recognition
• Gold, $500, includes eight dinner tickets, 40 drink tickets, sponsor table, banner on stage, event recognition
• Silver, $250, includes four dinner tickets, 20 drink tickets, sponsor table, banner on stage, event recognition
• TCFB Scholarship Donor, $50, event recognition.
