Fast food orders benefit band

The Sonora High School Golden Regiment Band will hold a fundraiser at Carl’s Jr. on Wednesday.

The restaurant will donate a portion for sales made between 4 and 7 p.m. to the band. The restaurant is at 1075 Mono Way in Sonora.

To donate, diners should mention the band when ordering, or go online to the band’s Facebook page a print a flier to present at time of ordering.

Lions Club
to dish up omelettes

The Sonora Lions Club will hold an omelette breakfast June 24.

The breakfast will include made-to-order omelettes, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, tea and orange juice.

The event will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Tuolumne County Senior Center, 540 Greenley Road in Sonora.

Cost for the meal is $10 per person, and children younger than 6 eat free.

Breakfast will benefit fire department

An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on July 1 will benefit the Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire Department.

A breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, milk, juice and hot chocolate will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. at the fire station on Highway 108 in Sugar Pine. Cost for breakfast is $8 per person and $3 for children 10 and younger.
