The Peaceful Valley Farmers Market in East Sonora will be the first farmers market in Tuolumne County to open for the season when it welcomes shoppers on Friday.
Market organizer Erin O’Hare said this is the market’s fourth season, and about 40 vendors will be on site including Blue Oak Farm, Tyson Hill, C&M Strawberries, The Blueberry Man, Cali Crab Feeds, Wood Fired, Jamestown Olive Oil, Gold Country Hoey, Kona Ice, Wonderfully Wild Creation, Sunrise Pottery, Hummus Heaven and more. Newcomers to the market include Monarch Essentials, Reverie Handmade, MatKat Sourdough, Peanut Butter & Deli, Almon Woodcraft and Root & Restore.
The market also offers live music each week, and Josh Certo and Grover Anderson will perform at the first market on Friday.
