Cream Cheese with Cranberry Salsa

Servings: 6

4 tablespoons Spicy Cranberry Salsa (recipe follows)

3 ounces Neufchatel cheese

Crackers

Prepare cranberry salsa (recipe below). Place Neufchatel (low fat cream cheese) on a serving plate. Spoon Cranberry Salsa over top of cheese. Serve with crackers for spreading.

Spicy Cranberry Salsa

Combine one 16-ounce can of whole-berry cranberry sauce with 2 tablespoons of lemon, lime or orange juice, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves and 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. Mix to blend. Can be prepared up to a week in advance. Keep refrigerated. Use as above or as an accompaniment to chicken, turkey or pork.

Nice on a turkey sandwich.

It’s now November, and we have entered the tastiest time of the year!

But it is also the busiest time for many with shopping, parties, decorating and cooking on the agenda.
