Larry the Cable Guy will bring his stand-up comedy to the new Westside Pavilion in Tuolumne this Friday. Gates and the box office will open at 5 p.m., with entertainment starting at 7 p.m. and Larry taking the stage at 9 p.m.

After getting his start by making guest appearances on radio shows, he gained quick fame on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Jeff Foxworthy.

Larry went on to have multiple comedy albums receive gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Larry the Cable Guy, whose real name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney, continues to perform in venues throughout the country.

He also lent his voice to the character Mater in the “Cars” movies from Pixar.

Additionally, Larry created the Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after his signature catchphrase, and has donated more than $7 million to various charities.

Despite his stage name, he has never worked for a cable company.
