Omega Nu offers catered party

The Sonora Chapter-Alpha Iota of the Omega Nu Sisterhood in February will offer the chance to win a fully catered appetizer party for 20 or sit-down dinner for 10.

The drawing for the choice of prizes will be held Feb. 19, and ticket holders need not be present to win. The winner can choose between a fully catered and staffed party for 20 guests or a catered dinner for 10 prepared and served in their own home (within a 30-mile radius of downtown Sonora) by Omega Nu. The party date will be determined by agreement within the months of March through May 2018.

Tickets cost $20 each or $100 for six and can be purchased at Joan’s Boutique in downtown Sonora, from any Omega Nu member or by calling (209) 586-1682.

For the past 80 years, local Omega Nu Fundraisers have supported women and children in Tuolumne County. Proceeds from the prize drawing will benefit many Omega Nu projects, including scholarships.

“Making a difference in the lives of many is at the core of our organization, and this particular event is a fun and creative way to involve our community” said Joyce Lupo, president.
