The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

6:18 a.m., animal complaints — A large flock of turkeys walked on Restano Way and South Washington Street, causing a road hazard.

11:49 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle parked on Sanguinetti Road slipped out of gear and rolled into a parked car.

3:00 p.m., theft — A person on North Washington Street said someone was working on his laptop about four months ago, but now the person has blocked him on social media and not returned the laptop.

9:35 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a Stockton Road hotel said they had a firearm and someone tried to open the door to their room.

11:42 p.m., fraudulent activities — A person at a Mono Way business said they transferred $670 to an unknown account.

SATURDAY

12:58 a.m., public peace, fight disorderly conduct — A man at a South Stewart Street business repeatedly yelled “what’s your [expletive] problem” during a fight.

10:07 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man accused of taking items from the deli area of Sanguinetti Road business was asked to leave the store.

10:58 a.m., reckless driving — A vehicle drove erratically on Greenley Road while the driver talked on his cell phone.

6:41 p.m., animal complaints — A small dog was locked in a green pickup truck on Sanguinetti Road and appeared to be in distress.

8:50 p.m., lost, found property — A BB gun was found inside a plastic bag near benches at a Sanguinetti Road business.

SUNDAY

12:28 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman at a Greenley Road park threw things out of a car and kicked things.

12:46 p.m., theft — A transient man stole a bottle of alcohol from a Stockton Road store.

2:23 p.m., threats — A man threatened an employee of a Restano Way liquor store when the employee refused to sell him and a woman alcohol.

10:50 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man used a hose and refused to leave a Sanguinetti Road business.

10:22 a.m., Sonora — Trash and abandoned cars were left all over a Tinnin Road property.

1:07 p.m., Jamestown — A person exhibiting “tweaker behavior” loitered behind a Main Street hotel.

7:29 p.m., Twain Harte — A person on Confidence South Fork Road said his neighbor refused to return his cat because the neighbor's family had become attached to the cat and it was too late to claim it.

7:45 p.m., Jamestown — A boy between the age of 8 and 10 went through mailboxes on Egan Road.

11:47 p.m., Sonora — A person on Fitch Ranch Road said his neighbor was using a noise machine to make “weird animal songs.”

7:15 a.m., Sonora — A person on Lime Kiln Road and Murphys Road reported a grass fire.

8:18 a.m., Jamestown — Someone dumped a utility trailer with stuff inside of it in a Seco Street parking lot.

1:30 p.m., Sonora — A woman chased a man behind a Mono Way fast food restaurant and tried to poke him.

8:02 p.m., Sonora — A person at a Mono Way gas station found it suspicious that a 16-year-old boy was at a gas station with a newer BMW, but said they did not know how to pump gas.

10:10 p.m., Tuolumne — An animal in distress made howling noises on Yosemite Road.

7:25 a.m., La Grange — A baby rattlesnake was loose somewhere in a La Palmas Way store.

9:05 a.m., Long Barn — A hiker on a bridge of Fraser Flat Road heard shooting and was concerned about the safety and legality of it.

10:38 a.m., Twain Harte — A man came onto a Mount Elizabeth Road driveway, scared children, blew smoke at the caller and ran over her plants while leaving.

7:20 p.m., La Grange — A 10-year-old was chased by a person with a knife at a Bonds Flat Road campground after the child made comments to the person.

10:46 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle drove on Buckboard Court and someone inside fired off five rounds from a firearm.

8:41 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone was sleeping inside a post office on Carter Street and someone said the office smelled bad.

10:17 a.m., Columbia — A person on South Airport Road tried to start a fire near a trailer home park.

11:26 a.m., Sonora — A person on Big Hill Road found buckets of paint, tar and roofing material dumped on a Big Hill Road hillside.

6:22 p.m., Sonora — A person who appeared to be strung out wandered in the middle of Jamestown Road.

7:15 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — Three men urinated in front of a house on Muheli Road and when they were confronted by the resident, the men accused the resident of wanting to take pictures of their genitals.

10:50 p.m., Sonora — Agustin Torres, 47, of the 4800 block of Faith Home Road, Ceres, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license following an arrest on Highway 108.

9:48 p.m., Jamestown — Cary Scott, 64, of the 9000 block of Berg Court, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving without a license following an arrest on Sierra Avenue.

2:48 a.m., Sonora — Robert William Chester Linn, 23, of the 19600 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving while license is suspended for DUI following an arrest on the 100 block of Greenley Road.

4:42 a.m., Jamestown — Corbin Lee Clough, 26, of the 17700 block of Blue Bell Road, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges hit and run with property damage following an arrest on the 18400 block of Fifth Avenue.

3:05 a.m., Long Barn — Jose Miguel Lopez, 28, of the 200 block of Kavanaugh Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with a wanton disregard for safety, child endangerment and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license following an arrest on Highway 108.

4:34 p.m., La Grange — Donald Ray Smith, 61, transient, was booked on suspicion of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old and failure to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction following an arrest on the 4800 block of Arbolado Drive.
