The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:01 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man with a scooter refused to leave a South Washington Street hotel.

10:19 a.m., burglary — A person left their wallet on the seat of a mobile shopping cart and when they returned for it, it was gone.

10:27 suspicious circumstances — A person at a Greenley Road apartment complex found six cans of empty propane and six cans of empty acetone in an apartment dumpster.

5:09 p.m., hazardous situation — A white vehicle was stalled in the left turn lane on Greenley Road.

5:19 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men climbed into a red dilapidated abandoned house on Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:02 a.m., Twain Harte — A driver on Coffill Road said a Ford pickup truck forced them off the road and into a tree stump.

9:31 a.m., Tuolumne — A person on Tuolumne Road North refused to leave an area and said he wanted to go to a pow-wow.

1:07 p.m., Groveland — A catamaran and a mattress were dumped in a parking lot behind a Main Street store.

6:16 p.m., Long Barn — A person on Upper Scenic Drive heard “weird noises” coming from a neighboring house, and said when he saw his neighbor, he appeared to be really “stoned.”

9:32 p.m., Sonora — A person on Lazy Z Lane said his neighbor knocked on his door and began filming him about his children not being safe and he believed the neighbor was on drugs.

7:45 a.m., West Point — A person on Skull Flat Road reported fraudulent bank activity, but it was determined to be unfounded.

8:33 a.m., Copperopolis — A person on Copper Meadows Drive said a scammer attempted to get him to fill out his credit card number.

3:29 p.m., Murphys — A citation was issued after a traffic stop on Highway 4.

9:41 p.m., West Point — A person on Sourdough Road believed they heard people outside, but deputies were unable to locate anyone.
