The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:12 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on South Shepherd Street heard someone knocking on their back door.

9:32 a.m., assault — A person at a Mono Way grocery store filed a late report of someone who threw grocery items at her earlier in the week.

11:22 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Three vehicles were vandalized at a South Washington Street car business during the night or early morning.

1:57 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman in a vehicle on North Washington Street yelled and charged at people.

6:25 p.m., hazardous situation — Someone lost groceries in the middle of Sanguinetti Road, but when someone went to pick them up, it caused a traffic hazard.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

7:29 a.m., Sonora — A person at a Mono Way property said someone took the jack stands out from under his house and replaced it with wood.

9:46 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Fifth Avenue said a person made a bed out of clothes at a church and left alcohol and drug paraphernalia behind.

12:28 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A turkey with an arrow through its back was found at a Hekeke Lane property.

5:20 p.m., La Grange — Five small children in diapers played outside of a Penascal Road property without supervision, and one of them tried to get inside a neighbor’s residence.

6:45 p.m., Columbia — Someone hit a fire hydrant on Four Wheel Drive and caused water to shoot up straight into the air.

12:25 a.m., Valley Springs — A report that a horse was stolen from an unknown address in Valley Springs was determined to be unfounded.

12:09 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Solar panels were stolen from an Italian Vista Drive property.

3:09 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A residential alarm sounded on Mountain Ranch Road.

4:23 p.m., Copperopolis — A disturbance was reported after an argument on Morado Court.
