The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce’s 12th annual Oktoberfest will take place Saturday at Eproson Park in Twain Harte.

Vendors will open at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m. volunteers will start serving 24 beers and traditional German food – marinated bratwursts on a pretzel bun, sauerkraut and warm German potato salad. Food will be provided by Smokin’ Double Barrels BBQ.

Tickets cost $40 ($75 for two) and include a Twain Harte beer mug as well as beers and lunch. For those who don’t drink beer, there will also be wine available and they will receive a 2017 Twain Harte wine glass instead of the beer mug.

The Black Irish Band will be live on stage with German music starting at 11 a.m. followed at 2 p.m. by Agent, who will be performing tunes by Journey and the Eagles, among others.

Organizers said a vendor will set up a bounce house at the children’s playground area. A kids hot dog lunch will be available for $5.

Tuolumne County Transit’s trolley will start running at 10:30 a.m. This free service will be from the upper parking lot at the Twain Harte Village Shopping Center (where Twain Harte Market and Twain Harte Pharmacy are) and will last until 4 p.m.
