of January forum
A bounty of information will be offered to those living with Parkinson’s disease at a forum set for Jan. 25 at Sierra Bible Church in Sonora.
The forum will feature speaker Aaron Daley, MA, of the University of California, San Francisco, Parkinson’s Disease Clinic and Research Center.
Subjects to be covered at the forum include the latest treatments for the disease, an extended question-and-answer session and presentations from community agencies and representatives from the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 15171 Tuolumne Road, near Standard Park.
The event is presented by the Ronald and Krishna Hamilton Parkinson’s Foundation, UCSF Parkinson’s Disease Clinic and Research Center and the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Overeaters Anonymous meets weekly in Murphys
Overeaters Anonymous, a 12-step support group for people recovering from compulsive eating, meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Faith Lutheran Church, 65 Mitchler St., in Murphys.
