Adventist Health Sonora will host Tree of Lights, a benefit for Hospice, at 5 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church, the historic Red Church, in downtown Sonora.
Tree of Lights is a tree lighting and remembrance service that provides an opportunity to honor loved ones while helping to light the Christmas tree in front of the church. A gift of $25 or more made in honor or in memory of someone special will add a light to the tree. Other giving levels include $100 or more to adorn the tree with an ornament and $250 or more includes a commemorative Tree of Lights ornament to keep for personal remembrance.
Each gift given enables Adventist Health Hospice to continue to reach patients when and where they need it most by providing compassionate end-of-life hospice care regardless of their ability to pay, stated a press release.

In addition to lighting the tree in front of the Red Church, Adventist Health Sonora will once again light up the main hospital campus to celebrate the Christmas season.
