Breast health the focus of Ladies Night Out

Adventist Health Sonora will host its fifth annual Ladies Night Out Oct. 5 in recognition of National Breast Health Awareness Month in October.

The event is held to help the community celebrate life and as a reminder for everyone to get recommended screenings, stated an Adventist Health press release.

From 4:30 to 7 p.m., downtown Sonora will be filled with music, activities, contests and special deals and giveaways provided by participating businesses. Some of the activities offered will include a celebration wall, memorial candle lighting, photo booth, “bead walk” to create a “Find-a-Cure” key ring, free mani”cures”, window display contest,

From 4:30 to 7 p.m., downtown Sonora will be filled with music, activities, contests and special deals and giveaways provided by participating businesses. Some of the activities offered will include a celebration wall, memorial candle lighting, photo booth, “bead walk” to create a “Find-a-Cure” key ring, free mani”cures”, window display contest, prizes and a passport book filled with special deals and coupons to be stamped at participating businesses. There will also be a raffle for a large gift basket that will include tickets to Adventist Health’s 2018 Joie de Vie Gala, valued at over $400.

Participants who check in at either Courthouse Square or above Coffill Park on Washington Street will receive a passport book, “bead walk” key ring, window display contest ballot and raffle entry. The first 250 to register and receive a free gift.

After registering, participants can stroll downtown for shopping, dining and services. Many local businesses will participate in a window display contest and will stay open late.
