The Twain Harte Summer Arts and Wine Festival returns to downtown Twain Harte this weekend.

The 39th annual street festival features about 100 vendors selling art, jewelry, pottery and much more. Booths wind around the Eproson House, down Cedar Drive and Joaquin Gully Road.

Live entertainment will run continuously on the Main Stage. Saturday includes Tom Rigney and Flambeau performing zydeco and blues and Comedy Industries with juggling and magic.

Sunday’s entertainment features Twain Harte-based Little Fuller Band performing original folk rock music along with juggler and magician Daniel DaVinci. The Richard Burleigh Memorial Music Jam will be held at noon Sunday.

The “Cool Custom Hot Rod Car Show” will be shown at Twain Harte Center in the middle of the fair.

Vendors will sell a variety of food ranging from brick-oven pizzas to frozen fruit bars. Vietnam Veterans Chapter 391 will sell beer near the Twain Harte Arch, and the Twain Harte Fire House will sell hotdogs.

Following the event on Saturday, Modesto-area trio Homegrown will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. at nearby Eproson Park as part of the ongoing Concerts in the Pines series.

Additionally, a free showing of “Zootopia” will be held at Eproson Park at sunset Friday.

Wines in the Pines

The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Wines in the Pines event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Meadow Plaza. The event is held in conjunction with the Twain Harte Summer Arts and Wine Festival going on this weekend in downtown Twain Harte.

Tickets for the wine and food tasting cost $25 and include a commemorative wine glass.

The event is open to those 21 and older.

The following wineries and orchards will be pouring: Jazz Cellars, Gianelli Vineyards, Young’s Market, Indigeny Reserve, Inner Sanctum Cellars, Barefoot Winery, Chatom Vineyards, Tipsy Frog Wine Bar, Moody Ridge Wine Company, Southern Wines, Quady Winery, and Stevenot Winery.

Food will be offered by Jamestown Olive Oil Company, Black Oak Casino Resort, El Jardin Mexican Restaurant, The China House of Twain Harte, and Cosseboom Events.

Live music will be provided by Jana and Leroy Bumgarner.
