The Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau will hold a bi-monthly marketing meeting Feb. 21 at the Visitors Center, 193 S. Washington St., in Sonora.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m., and all are welcome.

Chamber to hold business showcase

The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting and business showcase on March 12 in Twain Harte.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Twain Harte Golf Club on Meadow Drive.

Member businesses can reserve a free table to advertise their business, and non-members can reserve a table for $25. Booth participants are asked to provide snacks. Beverages can be purchased at the golf club.

During the meeting, the proposed 2019 budget and new board of directors will be introduced.

Job fair set April 5 at Columbia College

Mother Lode job-seekers will find help at a Career and Job Fair slated for April 5 at Columbia College.

The fair, co-sponsored by Mother Lode Job Training and the college, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Oak Pavilion, 11600 Columbia College Drive in Sonora.

Second annual Volunteer Fair set for April 25

The second annual Tuolumne County Volunteer Fair will be held April 25 at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

The fair, 3 to 6 p.m., provides the public an opportunity to see the myriad of volunteer organizations in the county and their volunteer needs.

Volunteer organizations will receive an invitation to the event on March 1, and must return it by March 30. The first 75 organizations to respond will have a reserved booth.

The event is organized by Leadership Tuolumne County with help from the Sonora Area Foundation and Project Feed Our Kids Inc.
