Local author to sign books in Jamestown

Matt Peller, author of “Second Blossoming” and co-author of “Badge No. 1843 NYPD” will be the featured writer Saturday at Here’s the Scoop Books and Gifts in Jamestown.

Peller will be at the shop, 18178 Main Street, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pellers story, “Second Blossoming,” is a science fiction tale of Samuel Talayva, who was born in 2972. Talayva travels back in time to tell his stories of all the generations to come. Peller’s second book is about his father’s life in New York City as a beat officer raising two sons. The stories are written in his father’s words and put together and published by Peller. “Never Go Home,” Peller’s third novel, is set to be released as early as September.

Peller is married and lives in Tuolumne County with his wife. He is a member of the Sonora writers Group and active throughout the community.

Refreshments will be served.
