Bears girls JV nets two wins


Summerville boys varsity basketball team evened up their league record to 2-2 Wednesday night with a 63-52 win over Bret Harte.

The Bears were up at the half 29-24, said coach Ben Watson.

“But Bret Harte caught up and took the lead in the third,” he said. The Bears wrestled back control of game in the final minutes of the third and cruised to their 11th win overall.

Luke Fulkerson led the way on scoring with 22 points.

Kyle Norton had 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Jiovani AmayaWood had 10 points and six rebounds.

The Bears next play a league
