Claim Jumpers visit Sonora Elementary

The Columbia College men’s basketball team showed their skills in front of a packed gym Friday afternoon at Sonora Elementary School. The Jumpers dunked, shot 3-pointers and participated in games with the students. The students got to ask the players any question they wanted from, “How high can you jump?” to “Can No. 35 do a backflip off the stage”?” At the conclusion of the assembly, students took pictures with the players and asked for autographs. Columbia opens its season Nov. 3 in the Las Positas College Tournament in Livermore. The first home game will be Nov. 26 against Butte
