Calaveras boys basketball takes home rivalry win over Summerville

Calaveras High School boys varsity basketball team moved to 5-2 in Mother Lode League play after a 62-39 win over Summerville this week.

Calaveras’ senior, six-foot-seven point guard Dillon Autrey proved a dominating force, said Bears coach Ben Watson.

The leading scorers for Summerville were Mitchell Prevost with 14 points and Jiovani AmayaWood with 12.

Calaveras plays next at Linden (1-6) Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Summerville will take on Argonaut (6-1) on the road.

The game is at 7 p.m. Friday.
