Sonora boys basketball maintains perfect MLL record


The Sonora High School boys varsity basketball team made it 6-0 with their dominant win over Linden at home, 89-38.

Leading the way on scoring was Jace Decker with 21 points.

Jacob Storm had 12 points; Damien Kress had 11; Trey Hawkins added 10; and Rico Sanchez and Austin Patterson had eight each.

Mitchell Camacho, who had five points, led on rebounds for the Wildcats with eight.

Rico Sanchez contributed seven assists.

Tonight the ‘Cats are on the road to protect their perfect Mother Lode League record at Amador (1-5). The game begins at 7:30 p.m.
