Calaveras youth medal in Linden tournament


The Calaveras Youth Wrestling team was on the road at the Linden Tournament Sunday,

There were 44 wrestlers and 28 of them earned medals.

“I’m really proud of this team. The kids are all working their tails off,” said coach Cliff Randolph. “The kids that didn’t medal are even getting better. And that’s what we are shooting for. Getting better at something each day.”

8 and under

Of the 28 medals, 13 first first place, nine were second place and six were third.
