Mrs. Johnnie Knowles Snyder, age 83, was born in Clovis, New Mexico, in 1934, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Her family moved to California when she was in the fourth grade, where she was raised in Tuolumne County. In 2010 she moved to Bastrop, Louisiana. Johnnie was the matriarch of our family, whom we counted on for love and support. She loved flowers, birds, embroidery and drawing, but most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Roberts, and wife, Catalina, and Richard Roberts, and wife, Christy; daughters, Darlene and husband, Dennis Andrews, and Debbie, and husband, Bill Scott; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three brothers; a special niece, Melody Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nova Knowles; four sisters; and daughter, Denece Adamietz
