David L. Montgomery


David L. Montgomery passed away on Jan. 24, 2018, in Dandridge, Tennessee. He was a 30-plus year resident of Tuolumne County, where he was a general engineering contractor from 1978-1989, a member of the Sheriff's Posse from 1986-1989, and a private pilot from 1983-1990. He moved on to Battle Mountain, Nevada, where he built a USDA butcher shop and catering service. After that he briefly moved to Gillette, Wyoming, and Whitewood, South Dakota, before retiring to Dandridge,Tennessee, joining his dear friend, Jerry Gadboise.

He is survived by his wife, Mardi J; his children, Deanna L. Montgomery, David C. Montgomery, Michelle
