Tami Ann Smith passed away Jan. 18, 2018, surrounded by friends and family. Tami was mesmerized by the bonfire, she loved to draw and create anything that would bring joy to others. She loved and accepted everyone. She was very athletic and healthy. She believed knowledge is power so she learned all she could. Tami was the happiest when she became a mom.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Flores Covey Smith; her father, Douglas Howard Sims; her mother, Terry Ann Covey; her siblings, Garbriel Douglas Sims and Elizabeth Ann Covey; her grandparents, Jim and Arlene Laeng and Barbara

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Flores Covey Smith; her father, Douglas Howard Sims; her mother, Terry Ann Covey; her siblings, Garbriel Douglas Sims and Elizabeth Ann Covey; her grandparents, Jim and Arlene Laeng and Barbara Carne.

Tami was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Carne; and stepmother, Dalin Sims.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Black Oak Casino with a celebration of life following at noon.
