Richard Sebastian D’Agosta passed away on Oct. 23, 2017 in Sonora. He was 66 years old. Rich was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 25, 1951, to parents Michael and Mary D’Agosta. He graduated from Burke High School in 1969 and served in the U.S. Navy as a radarman from 1969 to 1972. Richard married Nancy Anne Connors on Jan. 6, 1973. They raised two daughters, Crista Renee and Lisa Michelle.
Rich ran a successful small business in fleet maintenance and lubricant sales.
He loved ice hockey, baseball, history, muscle cars, gardening, refinishing furniture and woodworking. He also loved his family and storytelling.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Mick; and his parents.
Rich is survived by Nancy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Crista and Dave Scott and Lisa and Anthony Abad; grandchildren, Helen, Noah and Avery; and his siblings, his siblings, Pat, Sebastian, Jim, Mary Jo, Jeff, and Lisa.
Services to celebrate Rich will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at St. Charles Borromeo in Livermore. A reception will follow at Poppy Ridge Golf Course.
