The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
12:19 p.m., reckless driving — A confused elderly man drove around a Sanguinetti Road parking lot and almost hit other drivers and grocery carts.

12:47 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on Hill Street challenged a person to a fight after a juvenile may have been smoking a substance in the area.

3:53 p.m., assault — A man on Pesce Way said he was approached by a person who then hit him in the face.

6:28 p.m., driving under the influence — An intoxicated woman on Cemetery Lane urinated in a person’s driveway.

10:59 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person threw trash at the door of an East Church Street residence.


SATURDAY

4:53 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two people in jackets with hoods walked off of a Golden Street property when a homeowner arrived.

9:36 a.m., trespass/loiter — A transient man slept in front of a Stockton Street business.

6:01 p.m., threats — A person on South Barretta Street said a neighbor threatened to stab her in the stomach.

11:40 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on North Norlin Street heard a disturbance that she believed involved her son.

SUNDAY

2:07 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Four intoxicated people argued outside of a South Washington Street bar.

12:14 p.m., theft — A person on South Barretta Street said someone stole furniture out of her carport but she purposefully hung up on an officer who made contact with her.

2:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on South Washington Street said someone was purposefully jumping into the road, but the man denied it.

10:09 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man who may have been intoxicated yelled near the tracks on Old Wards Ferry Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

6:08 a.m., Jamestown — A medium sized cat was salivating and was aggressive toward other cats on Fourth Avenue, so a person believed it may have been rabid.

9:00 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Railbed Road said they required assistance from a deputy because their cell phone and house phone were not working correctly.

9:44 a.m., Tuolumne — A person followed, spit on and threatened to stab another person at a Tuolumne Road North gas station.

5:52 p.m., Sonora — Two people claiming to be with PG&E were rude and attempted to sell solar materials to a Sapphire Ridge Road resident.

10:34 p.m., Sonora — A person on Rawhide Road heard someone making a banging noise on their garage.

SATURDAY

1:36 p.m., Sonora — A horse was seen in the middle of Mount Brow Road.

5:27 p.m., Sonora — A Nile River Drive said believed people were drag racing on the street.


SUNDAY

12:14 p.m., Tuolumne —A woman on Mi Wu Street said people were using a fireline in front of her house, her son had been taken to Mexico with his eyes taped shut, and someone from the FBI was burning through her roof with toxic glue.

2:28 a.m., Tuolumne — A person at a Tuolumne Road North business said someone stole his $1,800 ticket and cashed it, but the people seen cashing the ticket denied they stole it.

7:55 p.m., Jamestown — Two men spread “a bunch of junk out in the parking lot” near a Main Street business and a person believed that they seemed “sketchy.”

4:02 a.m., Sonora — Jose Ramiro Patino-Cambron, 49, of the 2600 block of West Fremont Street, Stockton, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

11:39 p.m., Sonora — Randy Scott Guliza, 68, of Railroad Flat, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm while a felon, possession of ammunition while prohibited, burglary, and misdemeanor charges receiving known stolen property, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription after an arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

12:15 a.m., Burson — A person walking on Wade Lane set off security motion alarms.

5:19 a.m., San Andreas — A person trespassing on a High School Street property agreed to leave the area after being contacted by a deputy.

3:16 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A person on Miwok Trail said medication was stolen.

9 p.m., Avery — A person filed a music noise complaint on Avery Sheep Ranch Road.

10:20 a.m., Valley Springs — People argued argument on Westhill Road.

12:47 p.m., Angels Camp — A person on Dunn Lane said equipment was stolen, but he could not identify any specifics.

3:25 p.m., Murphys — Men on Tom Bell Road went door to door and asked for cash.

11:43 p.m., Valley Springs — A person on Sequoia Avenue saw an excess of vehicles on the street and requested an area check.
