9:32 a.m., Sonora — A Mono Way grocery store received a counterfeit $100 bill.

3:56 p.m., Sonora — A man said he was hit in the face with a fire extinguisher at a South Washington Street hotel.

5:50 p.m., Sonora — A woman dressed in black walked in the middle of Shaws Flat Road, causing vehicles to swerve around her.

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:45 a.m., Sonora area — A man wanted to know if he could legally put up a sign on his Kewin Mill Road property saying “trespassers will be shot on sight” after an argument with a neighbor.

9:15 a.m., Jamestown — A drone was seen flying over a school of Fifth Avenue.

9:36 a.m., Jamestown — A homeless person camped under the steps of a Main Street business and left their belongings.

10:36 a.m., Jamestown — Foil was found in the toilet of a Main Street and Smoke Street park.

12:22 p.m., Sonora area — A person started a fire without realizing they had no hose or fire extinguisher.

12:56 p.m., Sonora area — A grey car parked near a Mono Way gas station had a wheel off and people were seen sleeping in the car overnight.

1:30 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Mi Wu Street said her invisible friend changed all the groceries she had purchased and that the invisible friend takes her broom to drive her car.

2:44 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone reported seeing people on camera in the backyard of their vacation home.

3:17 p.m., Sonora area — A gun was stolen from a Harrison Drive residence.

5:56 p.m., Sonora area — A Greentree Lane resident said their mail was being forwarded to Hollywood without permission.
